On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to announce that the 3rd "Florence Conference on Phenotype MicroArray Analysis of Microbial and Mammalian Cells is scheduled to be held from Thursday, September 10 to Saturday, September 12, 2015. As the title of the conference indicates, the primary aim is to provide a forum for discussing the state of the art concerning applications and data analyses of Phenotype MicroArray technology, as well as future perspectives. For the first time, this meeting will also include a substantial number of presentations regarding mammalian cells. The first and the second edition of the Conference (held in 2008 and 2010) attracted a large number of researchers, postdoctoral associates, students and others from over 25 countries. The 3rd edition of the conference will provide an opportunity for scientists to share Phenotype MicroArray data, discuss the most recent protocols and update themselves on current technological developments in the cell phenotyping field. It will also be an opportunity to bring together scientists working in different fields of biology. This meeting will therefore facilitate the integration of Phenotype MicroArray data into systems biology approaches for the study of microbial and mammalian cell biology.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee,
Carlo Viti, Ph.D., Chairperson of the Florence Conference
